LET's KEEP OUR ANIMALS SAFE THIS HURRICANE SEASON
Our hurricane season has started on June 1st and unfortunately forecasters are warning us for an active season with 6-10 hurricanes predicted.
The Humane Society of the BVI wants to be prepared and has an evacuation plan in place in case a major storm hits us.

We can use your help!
During our Covid-19 lock-down curfew, we've had many wonderful fosters jumping in to help us and take some of our animals into their homes. These fosters have been a tremendous help and some continue to foster after the lock-down. If a hurricane approaches, we will need to get all our animals out of the shelter, which will be a much larger task and more to ask from our fosters. We will need to order a large amount of crates, which will enable us to transport our animals safely and keep them secure during the worst part of the storm. This will make it much easier to place several animals in one household or in a safe building.
Please help us with purchasing the crates we need to keep our animals safe! |
DONATE A CRATE
CASH / CHECKPlease stop by our shelter or call us at 284-494-9008 or email us at [email protected] if you would like to donate with cash or check towards the crates.

Please let us know if you want to help with fostering our animals when a major storm is threatening us. We will contact you as soon as we start our evacuation plan.
